Pounded and Tempered Copper

Copper has always been an integral component of Native Americans in North America from archaic times to the present.  The Adena, Hopewell, Mississippian and historic Native people have always venerated copper and has often represented the most influential of native ancestors.

Copper art work included in ths website are all made by Roger who pounds, tempers and inscribes various designs and motifs representing present and past Southeast Woodland cultures.
